i made the bus i needed to yesterday & as i sat in my seat & waited for the driver to close the doors & pull away, he said to the dispatcher 'wait, we got another runner...don't kno where he's runnin to but he's runnin' so we waited to see if he was trying to make our bus. sure enough, the 'runner' was running to the bus i was on & who other would it be than boomba.
as i watched him board, i looked to the empty seat on my left & wondered if he would sit next to me..... he walked on the bus & either didn't see me or ignored me & sat down somewhere behind me. for the first time since we broke up, i felt attracted to him; i was almost disappointed that he didn't sit next to me. i started to think about him a little & then mentally slapped myself in the face & went to sleep.
when we got off the bus i saw him walking up ahead of me & felt compelled to be near him again.... it was starting to bug me out. as i passed a kiosk in the port, i lost sight of him & then didn't see him anymore & continued on my way to work.
this is literally the first time i've had any kind of feelings toward him at all since we broke up....all the times i've seen him before this, i've just been indifferent.... no love, no lust, no hate, no anger -- nothing. (well perhaps a little sadness or pity, could never quite identify it) i found this phenomenon strange compared to the way i normally react to people...even those that i don't kno all that well & especially those that i do kno.
what the hell is that about!!???!?!?!?!? |

Nostalgia. It happens as time passes and your mind starts to let go of the crappy memories and focus more on the good ones. All of a sudden you will be longing for someone that you know damn well you got rid of for a reason. Its just the brains way of trying to make sure you have a potential mate somewhere I guess. Giving yourself a mental slap will do it good.
