Default Afraid of taking risks

Don't understand why there are people whom are like this. I'm all for this, but you can't live your life in fear. Mean just simple in general then adventurous and that could be it as well. Really never been that way.

I'm scared of losing more than I already have. Risking more means having nothing.

I guess after my " failed life " I was afraid of taking another risk.
Its gets real hard getting up at times after being knocked down so much.
But I shined up my shield, put a edge on my broadsword and headed out again to take another risk.
Am glad I did because I believe I'm happier now then I ever been in my life.

We come into this life with nothing, we go out with nothing (but memories). What's to lose?

Like Wayne said, every day is a risk. Getting out of bed and facing whatever the day may bring is a risk, but we do it anyway.

The real big risks that give you that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach are also the ones that give you that adrenalin high and, going back to the beginning of my post, you came into this world, and your definitely going to leave it again, so suck it up, take the risk and enjoy it while your here. I'd rather die trying than add up regrets lying on my death bed.

I belive in having times of quiet repose and gather new wings but nothing ventured is nothing gained...... risking is not always for big things.....

Everyday is a risk in itself as Wayne has suggested.
Just getting up or driving to work etc.
Those are just the everyday risks we all take so unless you never leave the house, we are all " risk takers ".
Those other risks that some of us take like driving faster then we should in bad weather, hand gliding on your holidays, going into a strange bar in a " seedy " part of town for a drink.
Those are real risks to me and not everyone choses to take them
When faced with a " real risk " I weight the danger factor.
Then that governs my action.

Yes your right but lets not ever forget all those that take risks daily.
The police, fire fighters. emergency people all are risk takers. And I'm glad they are.
But also lets remember the troops overseas.
Bless and protect them all.
