Hi Christianthoughts. Good idea for a thread. Something for the believers without having to argue and prove their beliefs. Praise God.

I saw your profile page Christianthoughts, and liked the playlist you had for music playing. I'm not that musical myself, so I can't picture the tune or rythem of your song very well, but I bet it sounds great. Like the words. Helix, always awsome to keep see you in the threads.
So Christianthought, any idea of what to talk about. I like the idea of whatever it is to be an encouragement to other christian. I was wondering if starting off with some testimonies would be a good idea. Didn't want to steal your thunder in this thread so, thought you should descide the direction first. Hows the booklet by the way? |

Alright. So my life hasn't been that rough. And what God has rescued me from are small things, though they are big things to me. All in all, I can't complain for much. But God found me a long time ago, and I had to grow up before I learned what that meant and to search for God on my own. When I was 2 years of age (or actually I wasn't quite two yet), I had a head injury. I had fallen off some school bleachers at one of my brother's wresseling matches and landed on the right side of my skull. With lots of prayers and a superb surgen, I survived, and went into a 2 week coma. Still lots of prayers, and eventually I woke up.
I grew up around two great very spirtual parents. They were of differing faiths though. This was never a problem, for my parents, my brothers, or myself. There was more love and acceptance than religous talk. This isn't the reason I believe in God, though I'm sure it did help. I believed in God because of prayer. Because whenever I doubted that he was there, and asked if he was, it felt like he was listening. Just the comferting presence and feeling a kid might get talking all their problems out to a good teacher or loving parent. It was this that proved God exists, even before I descided that Christianity was the way to God. Many other answered prayers became part of my proof of God's existance, though, I bet if I listed them out, most people would say they were condinces or not large enouth things to ask for to be considered proof. But they are proof. Later on about 15 or so. I descided to try to figure out which religion, if any religion, led to God. I started reading the old testiment of the bible, not yet ready to accept the idea of Christianity, and as I read, the stories became a life of their own. I'm not sure anyone can relate to this, but even though the bible was written my many authors throughtout the books written in it, the bible as a whole flowed together as if it was all connected. Like how all the parts of the body are connected and effect eachother. When I started reading the new testiment, this connectiveness didn't change. I started to accept and welcome the idea of Christianity. Of Jesus being from God, and therefore his claims of being the Son of God also true. For the record, I was not indroctrined to believe this. I believed it when I looked into it for myself. I know God is real, that he love me, as well as everyone else. And from my experiences, I know Jesus is really from God. |

The perfect Lamb "Story"
(Lampoil) / Once there was a perfect lamb; (Christianthoughts) / This was no ordinary Lamb and even though it had no broken bones, spot or blemish, (Questioned_Man) ... even though it had no broken bones, spot or blemish, the lamb had the task to remove all blemishes from the other creatures ofthe land. His story starts sometime ago, ...
