GOOD morning everyone

The first thing I did this morning was to turn on the computer. Then I drank coffee and read. I read the posts concerning yesterday's debacle then I read the personal messages. Then I fed and medicated all my critters, dogs, donkeys and Mom while I thought about what to say here. I'm still not sure that I'm capable of expressing my feelings adequately. Let me start by saying that I'm as full of warm happy feelings this morning as I was full of anger and hurt last night. I don't know who to thank first but here goes:
Thank you to the person who I was at odds with yesterday for reassessing their reaction to my words and making a voluntary offer of friendship in a PM.
Thank you to the Thoughts staff for stepping up and openly apologizing for misinterpreting my intent then asking me to stay and continue contributing. I've seen with my own eyes that people in authority can become full of themselves and become pompous and dictatorial while lacking the courage to own up to their own errors. That's not the case here at all.
Thank you to all of you who read my post with an open mind and took care to see my true intent.
Thank you to those who didn't read my post but have seen enough of me to trust that I meant no harm to anyone and said so, both in personal messages and in the open forum.
Thank you to my good friend Dan who gave his personal endorsement of my values and morals.

I hope I didn't overlook anyone. If I did, consider yourself thanked. As I said, thanks to all of you for making me feel even better this morning than I felt bad last night. I think I'm starting to repeat myself so I'll wind it up by saying that I'm truly sorry if I offended anyone and in the future, I'll try to choose my words more carefully. If we all do that along with trying to read each other's words carefully, this place will continue to grow and flourish.

I guess you're stuck with me a while longer.
