Here is a question for all.... What if Jesus comes on this day and all are enslaved. How would you handle it? Would you help those he has banished? We assume he comes peacefully but didn't we crucify him and stand by watching? What would you do to such a race?

No, I wont be here to do anything. When Christ returns I will have already been raptured. When God comes to judge the world He's going to do it and there isn't anything anyone can do about it.

For the sake of argument.... the rapture is where he takes his.... correct.... what if you then become the ones who must condemn others to be banished from the kingdom..... would you let those people die?

I'm not sure I understand your question. But let me try to answer it. I don't find anywhere in scripture where man is the condemner of sinners, I find the exact opposite, than God is judge of the heart. As far as the punishment for those who refuse Gods salvation, the separation from God for eternity, they earned that, so yes, by the freewill choice of each of the individuals they condemned themselves. I would stand by and allow it, not that I could do anything anyway, but if I could, I trust Gods judgement and his sovereignty.

In earthly judgement, if I were a presiding Judge in a murder case I'd have no problem sentencing a man to death, if I were executioner as well, and a man was convicted of murder I'd also have no problem executing them. Thats called justice.

those taken up will be the ones from the tribes and their count will be 144,000. Or are you talking of the multitude dressed in white that go through the tribulation. Nothing of a rapture that I have found unless it is this from Revelation chapter 7.... little more information from you Rowdy.

They will be the ones who rule with Christ and being a ruler their responsibility is to enact sentence on those who are not worthy....

For the sake of assuming...
It doesn't make any sense because if I remember correctly, Jesus didn't want anyone to stop him being crucified.

As far as making up scenarios that are nonsense, we would be in the same place we are right now...insignificant little slugs who could try and get away to outer space. Hopefully, Jesus doesn't return until we get to the point where we are moving about space like Star Trek The Next Generation.

On December 12, 2012.. nothing is going to happen.. that's insane

I am not a Christian but I have read the bible.. even in the bible it says we aren't going to know when he's coming back at all..
So even for Christians, saying he's coming on that day is unbiblical

If anything happens on 2012, it isn't because of Jesus's return. Kimberly is right. The bible says no one knows when Jesus will return.

As for the enslavement. What makes you think Jusus would want to enslave mankind. Even on His death he said to God please forgive them. If that kind of love an forgiveness is called slavery, where do I sign up.
