Default Carrie Prejean Goes Down. Literally!

Quote:
Former Miss California runner-up, Carrie Prejean had her day in court yesterday, though it didn’t turn out quite the way she had hoped. The Beauty Pageant almost Queen was suing Miss California USA Pageant officials for a litany of charges including public ridicule, anxiety, depression and loss of sleep stemming from the official’s handling of her career.

Everything was going fine until the defendants started playing a extremely graphic homemade sex tape starring none other than Miss Prejean, herself.

It’s been reported that it only took about fifteen seconds of playing the tape before Prejean decided to drop her lawsuit. If all litigation could only end so quickly.

How fast and far can one star fall.
News Source
Prejean rose to national attention with her stand against gay marriage in her series of pageant questions and quickly rose to fame in the eyes of the religious right. Even Faux News got in on the act, doing a story on her which started out....
  • ...Carrie Prejean, Miss California USA, was denied the Miss USA crown because she stood up for her moral beliefs. In this Fox News segment she defends her Christian faith and responds with dignity, courage and integrity to the vile filth and persecution that has been heaped upon her by celebrity parasite "Perez Hilton" and the rest of the Political Correctness Gestapo

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Cool

Carrie Prejean's mistake was echoing Barack Obama's definition of marriage nearly word for word without realizing that liberals knew Obama was just bullshitting everyone for the sake of votes and didn't really mean it when he said that, to him, marriage was between a man and a woman. For Prejean to be so ignorant of the ways of how left-wing political correctness works can be chalked up to her youth, her innocence in the way of the world.

Regardless of her beliefs, at first I sort of admired her for taking such a public stand on a controversial issue....until she started cashing in on it. It also didn't help that the right wanted to make her a running mate for sainthood, a la Sarah Palin.

Then there is the always present hypocrisy of the right.....

Of course that is expected...as the left would do/does to the right when given the opportunity.....I bet the poor girl never dreamed standing up for her beliefs would have spiraled into this drama!

I guess the point would be that if (in the words of the raging queen who blindsided her with the question) Carrie Prejean is an "ignorant bitch" for saying she believes the institution of marriage is between one man and one woman, then that means Barack Obama is an ignorant bitch for saying the very same thing. Wouldn't you say?
