mer_ant sent me a message saying she had inherited six million dollars from her recently deceased father. She wanted to give me ten percent of the cut if I provided a bank account number and a place to stay in my country

I told her I had saved and forwarded the message to the police, never send me anymore messages and fraud is illegal. Beware everyone, scammers are out there!
