The former director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in southeast Texas says she had a “change of heart” after watching an abortion last month — and she quit her job and joined a pro-life group in praying outside the facility.
Abby Johnson, 29, used to escort women from their cars to the clinic in the eight years she volunteered and worked for Planned Parenthood in Bryan, Texas. But she says she knew it was time to leave after she watched a fetus “crumple” as it was vacuumed out of a patient’s uterus in September. ‘When I was working at Planned Parenthood I was extremely pro-choice,” Johnson told FoxNews.com. But after seeing the internal workings of the procedure for the first time on an ultrasound monitor, “I would say there was a definite conversion in my heart … a spiritual conversion.” |

Let the festivities again.
I'm pro-choice and I think all of you who believe in Hell should fight for the abortion of all babies so everyone will go to Heaven. "I was extremely pro-choice". That's funny. A fetus crumpled. That's kind of funny also. What was it supposed to do...start doing a square dance?

I do want to give kudos to this Abbey Johnson (if she did) for using the word fetus. She won't be using the word much longer. That fetus is sure to turn into a baby real quick.

It's funny...so many people think "pro-choice" means pro-abortion. I don't think abortion is right but, I have the common sense to know I don't speak for every woman on the planet!!

She changed her mind. People change their minds all the time.
I dont think watching an abortion is enough reason to change ones mind. She worked at PP for 8 years and never once saw an abortion? What made her choose to watch one?

Have you ever watched an abortion take place? That's probley rightup there with watching those on death row die for enterainment. If you see it and it doesn't change how you feel about it, then somethings wrong with you on the inside.

If you are refering to the Silent Scream, please don't. It's been debunked many times as a fake.

I'm talking about watching someone die, and be coldly ok with it. Never heard of the silent scream and now will have to look into it. Still don't know though. Have you watched an abortion. I'm sure it's not on any educational channel for a very real and disterbing reason.

I'm sure the doctors performing an abortion procedure hate it, and are disgusted by it too.
I admire their professionalism and fortitude for doing a job that few others could even contemplate doing.
