World Series 2009 (Philidelphia Phillies vs New York Yankees - Sports Betting

Maybe I missed it. I came to this section to read something on the World Series, but there was no thread.

It's the Phillies vs the Yankees (who has won 26 times thus far).

My girlfriend and I haven't missed a game. It has been rather exciting too. We have a $5.00 bet on our teams. She picked the Phillies and I the Yankees.

They are going into game six tonight. So far the series is at: Phillies 2 / Yankees 3

Who would you like to see win (if any)?

As a new yorker at heart, I'm going with my boys on this one. Hopefully they can wrap this up as they have a tendency to give us fans heart attacks in these situations. It's been a hell of a series so far but we're way overdue for a championship. Go Yankees!

Any teram but the yanks. Not because of the players mind you, just have a real dislike for George.

I agree with Templar. I dropped the Yanks when George took over. Tonights game sees 2 old veteran pitchers against each other on short rest. Utley is tied with Reggie for most HR's(5) in one series. One more HR and he is the all time champ.
