I'm glad somebody got my drift!
The younger generations are bribed into accepting the loss of their freedoms by being able to acquire material bobbles and geegaws.
Luxury and convenience while confined in a cell might not look so bad.

Start by de-criminalizing , no scratch that... start by showing consideration for decrmininalizing weed and you'll have made progress towards stopping the hemorrage of freedom.

It's 2009.

Your turn to answer "Where do you draw the line on liberties?"

Is the legal drinking age of 21 yrs old (the US is one of two civilized countries with such a high legal drinking age) a violation of one's rights?

Looking forward to the answers.

None the less of any one's opinion we salute the Fallen, the Gallant, the Dedicated, and the Wounded who still for whatever reason, defend us daily. /

That gave me goosebumps. So true. So many veterans are forgotten, abandoned.
The politics that sent them there, will be always remembered, very unfair

I think that those who have fought and died for the pursuit of freedom have all watched that pursuit of Life,Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness dwindle away. Maybe this day of rememberance only comes once a year for some, and maybe some have no clue to what it is really all about, but for some it is in their blood and deepest memories of days past, everyday.

I'm drinkin' a cup of remebrance for the next several days for every man and woman who served their country either in time of war or in peacetime.
Also for every civilian contractor who placed theirselves in harms way in support of troops at war.
It's hard to be a veteran waving the flag, imaging that folks will think it is self serving, but it really isn't, because as veterans we must never forget those who served or those who died in service.
