I took and edited a short letter
that our friend Eileen sent us...
I wanted to keep this as short as possible..
only adding last week Eileen
``` found another lump``..
around some older scar tissue....
She has to wait ``45 days` for Medi-Cal to kick in...
so she ```can afford`` to go to the doctors...

A letter from Eileen Morales sent to me in
October .. I edited it only
`` to arrange the dates and events..``


My dearest husband Larry Morales
was born in Fresno Ca on. ..December 8 - 1961
Larry passed away in our home
to be with The Lord on ........September 28 -2009 .

We had been married for 13 years
Larry Morales leaves behind 6 children , 4 grandchildren ,
and myself his beloved wife, Eileen Morales.

My husband had suffered complications do to his diabetes.
And in 2006 , Larry underwent aortic valve replacement heart surgery ,
due to an infection elsewhere in his body , that had found its way to his heart.
He was very ill at that time and was given
only a 10% chance of surviving his surgery to replace the failing heart valve.
But by The Grace of God he made it through . !

Over the next 3 years Larry ,
continued becoming sicker and sicker...


July- 2008
After a routine physical exam ,
I then was diagnosed with breast cancer .
Being that my breast cancer was so advanced
I was then told I needed immediate surgery ,
and quickly underwent a double mastectomy.

Larry was struggling with being very ill
trying to work and care for our children ,
as I underwent surgery and the following
chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Which often left me so sick , I ended up in the hospital
with intravenous fluids being given to save my life.

Needless to say I was unable to look after our children.
and yet as always , Larry was there taking care of us
even thou he himself was very , very sick.

We keep on fighting the Good Fight of Faith !
I was told my battle with cancer had been won and although
I had lost both my breasts , I still cheerfully looked forward
to my hair growing back ,and to our family once more resuming
our blessed day to day life as it had been.


April -2009
Larry continued becoming sicker ,
and was in and out of the hospital being tested
when there came yet another blow delivered to us .
Larry was told he had liver disease and that only a transplant
could save his life. Larry tried to get on the list for a liver transplant ,
continuing to struggle with his health and keep working in construction.
Larry often fell very ill , with complications from his diabetes that would
leave his toes completely black , and painfully swollen .

August - 2009
As Larry waited to hear about his chances
on receiving a liver transplant . We were to receive yet another blow
as we were told Larry was now in the " last stage " of liver
disease and unable to have the liver transplant due to all the risk factors.

September -2009
The Good News !
that I had received , about being cancer free
however , was not to be , and once again
I was told I needed surgery and
thus I underwent a hysterectomy.

Shortly after the operation , I returned to
my former work place ,having been promised
my job opening would be there waiting for me.
But , upon returning I was told there had been
major lay-offs / job cuts , do to the weakened economy.
and that my former job position had been closed .
And I was also informed that there weren't any
other openings available for me in the job place.

September -2009

Larry was undergoing chemotherapy
for his inoperable liver cancer that was
rapidly spreading ,when we were told
on September 24 -2009
the chemotherapy wasn't working
and that Larry's kidneys were shutting down
They said there wasn't anything more they could do for Larry.
and Larry had been given only days or at best weeks to live.

Unfortunately , we were to have him for only 4 more days
Somehow Larry had managed to hang on and be there
for us when we needed him the most.
We dearly miss our beloved Larry
And the void he leaves behind
in our lives is overwhelming .

I had also
` written a letter of sorts```?
And went to other Churches..( some friends of ours
took the letter to their Church as well )
Eileens Church
managed to raise $ 150.00
from a picnic in the park but after the funeral
all the promises to`` help feed the children`went undone.
Not one other Church responded to the letter...
Well....
Larry never missed a service
in thier ``Church`` and continued
to smile and laugh ``although as an usher in the church...he
often was in pain with each step he took... to help others find a seat....
Eileen to this day.. IMO`` is sure a testament to ```Faith...


We , as members of The Body of Christ
We , as members of The Living Body
We, as members of The Church
```not made by hand or of stone``
We , Come standing on
The Word of God , making intercession for
Eileen Morales and the children
who are having a very difficult time.

We ask that others would help
in this petition of faith , and ask upon the scripture
" You have not because you ask not ,
or you ask to conceive upon the lusts of your own flesh "

We come and stand in agreement
and are asking boldly at
God's Throne of Grace , that you may hear our voice and
The Lords Spirit may move you and other members of
The Body of Christ , with compassion , to help
Eileen and the children

Eileen Morales , is struggling and going deeper in debt , trying to
support her children , besides having the financial burden
of debt from the funeral and burial costs of her husband Larry Morales.


Larry had always been there for Eileen and their children.
He helped Eileen face her wall of cancer and joined her in faith
And together they fought the Good Fight of Faith !
Now there remains a deep hole of despair and debt
We are asking others to judge within themselves and then
Act ! upon what they hear and are led by His Spirit to do !
And ``That God Will Be The Final Judge`` in this matter``


With Hope
With Faith , and
With God's Love
We only ask for you to consider
our petition to help
The Morales Family , and that God's Loving Grace
may find a way to move other members of His Church
