Why does it seem that most gay males are sluts?

Does anyone else have this problem? Nearly every single one that I come into contact with is utterly ALWAYS thinking about sex, always seeking out sex, and so forth. Would you fuck someone you just met?

It all depends on the person and situation. There are many places where it is just assumed you are looking for sex, as both parties are aware of this, they go through with it, if they enjoy it, they do it again.

Sadly, it makes the rest of us have a bad name, where all gay men are sluts and just thinking about there next lay. Stereotyping is the way of the world, its the special ones that see through it.

Down here is mostly older guys and they all have had the same partner for 10, 15 or 20 years.

arizona is the slut capital, i've lived here all my life, and through out my life that's all i've ever seen is gay guys being sluts. it's rare if you find one or two that would treat you like a normal person and not talk about sex or about needing sex or anything to that extent in any context

It's not just a remark, its a stereotype. Think about it, you're a guy, you meet a guy who doesnt hit on you, therefore he is just a guy, then you meet a guy who hits on you, he is also gay, you dont like this, you remember it. You'll remember every other time it happened too, forgetting all those that didnt hit on you. Therefore emphasising the stereotype that all gay males are sluts.

Me being a gay male and not a slut, I can vouch that it isn't the truth, but I can see the view on stereotype.

well, it's true- not all gay guys are nasty and you'll remember those who are as the majority.
but if you think about how most men are more visual, more impulsive, and more sexually driven.. it's like the terrible three resulting in meaningless sexual liaisons.
so unfortunately, as with giving blood, a lot of gay men just so happen to fall into a negative, often self inflicted, subcategory.

It's as simple as that. your sterotyping. It's like me say that all republicans are like George W. Bush. It's just completly inacurate, even though alot of the republicans I know ARE like him.
