Today is Andrew's birthday.  Six years ago today, Andrew started to fight for his life!  He was born three months premature, weighing only 1 pound 2 ounces and 10 1/2 inches long!  I was told that he most likely would not survive 24 hours, and if he did, he surely wouldn't survive past three days.  I knew in my heart he was a fighter!  A fighter he was....he beat all odds and today celebrates his 6th birthday!!!!!!!!

Now, he does have medical issues!  He has autism, asthma and he still is very tiny for his age.  But these are all issues my husband and I are happy to deal with.  We would much rather be dealing with these issues than mourning a loss.

It is hard at times.  Andrew does alot of repeating.  His new word is mommy.  He will stand in front of me and scream "mommy" over and over again.  While I get very frustrated, I do need to take a minute to remember how lucky we are to have him. 

He truly is our TINY MIRACLE from above and we cherish him so much!
