5 Maybe, 4 No's
::::::Warning: It's gonna be boring, and you don't have to read it.::::::

That's my tally so far in the job search. I'm crossing my fingers that someone will call of the 5 though. It seems at times that the only way you can get a job is if you know someone who works there or if you have job experience in that field to begin with. :( A lot of you probably already know that, but it's a fairly new revelation to me. Hey, it's only the third day of my wanderings though, so I still have hope.
Ok, my mind tends to jump around from thought to thought, so you'll have to excuse when the subject might change without any more notice than this. but...
I LOVE the country! That's where I grew up, where my parents(both sets) live. I have so many WONDERFUL memories of just the peacefulness, especially in the evenings. My Dad loves to grill, and I love sitting outside on their porch when I go visit. You can smell food slowly cooking, and if you close your eyes, it's kind of like seeing with a whole different pair of eyes. you hear voices faintly coming from inside, most likely my younger brother sitting at the counter in the kitchen ratteling on about what new "invention" he's come up with to my step-mom. Small clanks from dishes being moved around lets you know she's looking for the perfect pan to bake fries on. Suddenly you're brought back outside by the sound of a cow, calling to her herd out in the neighbors pasture. A quiet buzzing and chirruping made by the many evening bugs makes you picture them almost working together to create a very crazy symphony. All the while, the evening air is cool on your skin, and as it gets a little cooler you don't want to go inside because you feel so warm and cozy inside your own skin. Instead you just tuck your legs up, and wrap your arms around them to rest your head on your knees. Your jeans smell like the smoke coming from the grill...ah, the country...no sirens every few minutes, no neighbors friends loudly banging on their doors at night to be let in, no car alarms...

Good luck on the job search:) The closest I can say I lived to the country, is when I lived in Washington state. Right off of Puget Sound, very peaceful and quiet. I miss watching the otters play in the inlet, the occasional seal that came onto our beach. And the humming birds, never have I seen as many as I did there.

That sounds wonderful too :) The closest I've ever been to an otter were the ones at the zoo, not as peaceful and quiet a setting...
Thanks for the luck btw too

Good grief I forgot to say, loved your post. With your descriptions I felt as if I was there. Home is always such a good feeling isn't it?
