| Of Fake Boobs and Exagerrated Lips

I watched a programme 'Dying to Be Beautiful' and was appalled at the lenghths some people will go to look beuatiful. It was a documentary about this woman called Lola ( i think) whose fake boobs were so large that she looked like she had two bowling balls on her chest. She looked like a freak.
I imagined she must have had a really low self image to volunteer to undergo all that cosmetic surgery just to be noticed. She must have been a very sad person, dead inside. I've often observed that people who exhibit extreme behaviour often do it for attention, they feel like nothing when people's eyes are not fixed on them. They appear to be very confident indivduals in public and are often very extroverted and confident but they are often depressed and very miserable in private. They always seek the limelight.
It is so sad that someone would hate themselves so much that they would mutilate their bodies to be noticed or to appear 'better' than they are. You are beautiful just the way you are. And if you don't feel beautiful, have a makeover and spoil yourself with new clothes, makeup, handbags, good company. You don't need to chop yourself up to look like someone else. God made you beautiful the way you are, you don't need any panel beating.

I totally agree. I just don't understand why teens multilate their bodies when they have to accept themselves the way they are

I agree also. All of us are beautiful, we shouldn't have to look to a pandering, media and commercial driven society to feel that way!
