living in a third world country
I live in a country (not afganistan by the way) where chaos reigns supreme. We have basically no currency and the economy is driven by illegal dealings. Our government has decided not to release the results of the recently held elections and the worst part is we can do nothing about it. There is no rule of law and one man's word is law. And the most shocking part of it is that the environement is peaceful, people drive to and from work everyday, we watch international TV, buy imported clothes, and expensive cosmetics. We travel abroad on holiday and drive expensive cars, yet we are ruled by a despot and buy bread for 30 000 000 (30 million) dollars a loaf. This is truly a bizarre place indeed! (Any idea where I am?)
