 Hurt
It was my day to pick up my son yesterday and to my utter shock, my son decided that he wanted to go back to his dad's place. I did nothing to upset him but yet he felt it better to go back to his dad's place where he had been since Friday evening. This hurt me so much that I cried most of the night. I never want to lose my son and I am afraid that my ex may be spoiling him to win him over me. What should I do?

This is all normal and part of it. I think kids go through phases of wanting to be with one parent more than the other when the parents are not together anymore. I would just point out that he needs both parents and you realize that which is why you let him be with his father when he feels the need and don't try to make decisions based upon just how you feel. Spoiling kids is short term- what they really want is love and attention which is what you are obviously already doing
