 Death
I've just come from a friend's funeral. She died in a car accident leaving behind her friends, family and children. She also left behind all her plans, goals, ambitions, and disappointments. Knowing about her death has made me wonder if the things we spend our lives worrying about are really that important. For instance, how important is that guy who broke your heart three years ago? Why do you devote your time and emotions to him and revisiting the relationship (and heartbreak) that was? Would he matter to you if you were faced with death? Would you long for him at the final hour?

What is the point of mulling over things that you can never change, the job you never got, the guy who didn't love you, the money you could have made? Because it is very unlikely that those thoughts will occupy your mind in your final hour. What would you regret most if you had to die today? And I mean what would you regret doing or not doing? Apologising to your sister, giving up your child, spending time with your children? So why not do those things now; love your children, forgive your spouse, live your life. Because it may be over in the blink of an eye.

Wow this blog is very inspirational. You have a great point. Life is just so short, you never know if you will die or not so why not live life as if it was ur last? People in our minds we don't realize that until we experience things that teaches us lessons

thanks a lot for your comments! I'm happy that you find them meaningful. As for being older, I'm 30 so I guess that makes me just a little older (lol) I think I've experienced a little more than you and some of it hasn't been so good but some has. I hope you have better luck than I have!
