Should One Expect a Reward When Doing a Good Deed?
  • We all respect the person who always do good deeds for their donation to others. But someone today think that people expect a reward when doing a good deed as a worker should expect a payment when doing a good job. With the reward, they think more and more people will be encouraged to do good deeds.
  • On the contrary, others insist that doing good deeds is a tradition in our country and we should follow the model of LeiFeng who did good deeds without expecting any reward. They say that when a person expect rewards when doing a “good deed”,the “good deed” is not a really good deed.
  • In my opinion,we shouldn’t always expect rewards when doing good deeds. But we hold the belief that I do a good deed for others today and others will also do some good deeds for me in the future.

There is always a reward when doing a good deed, it is knowing that you helped someone out and that you made a difference.

I dont think all people get rewarded for doing a good deed. Like you said, I dont think that they always should. Because if people did, they would expect that whenever they did something good, they would get rewared, and so then all of the meaning in what they were doiong good was to get the reward.
Good post!
