What is thoughts.com?
We're a free community that encourages its members to share what's on their minds and make connections with others through blog posts, uploading photos and videos, reading and commenting on what other embers write, instant messaging and discussions in forums and groups.
Is there a fee for membership?
No! thoughts.com is 100% free to join and use.
How much space do I get for free?
You have unlimited free space at thoughts.com.
Who can join thoughts.com?
Anyone who is at least age 14 or older can join.
How do I sign up?
Click here to join thoughts.com.
How do I login?
To login just go to thoughts.com and enter your user name and password in the login fields. Remember, you can check the "remember me" box to allow thoughts.com to log you in automatically for each visit.
I forgot my password! Can I create a new one?
Certainly, just click on the "forgot password" link beneath the spot where you would normally log in. The system will send an email with a temporary password to your personal email. Once you have signed in you can create a new password in the password section of "My Settings".
How do I change my username?
Currently you are not able to change your username. We are looking into making this an option but for now it is not possible so please choose a username that you are going to keep.
Is it possible to deactivate my account?
While we hope you'll remain a part of the Thoughts.com community, we can cancel your membership and deactivate your account at your request. Remember, membership is free even if you are not currently using your account. If you wish to have your account deactivated, sign into your Thoughts.com account and send us a request with your username and the email address you signed up with. Also, since we hate to lose member, we'd appreciate it if you'd tell us why you're leaving.
How do I change my account settings?
You can change your account settings, including your password, profile information and theme from your settings panel once you've logged into the site.
What do you do with the information you collect from me?
We use some of your information to help recommend content that we feel will appeal to you as a thoughts.com member. We may also use personal information you provide for research to help us improve thoughts.com and the features we offer. We do not sell our members information to other sites.
Will there ever be a fee to access my account?
Your account is free and will remain so.
