wow- that really sucks! I feel your pain... this happened to me once before. Granted I was in high school but i felt really lonely bc/ I trusted them both. What I came to realize was that you are better off without someone who needs to cheat. A cheater does so because he has an inferiority complex. And he has some nerve asking you to pretend nothing happened! It's really pathetic actually...
My advice is to start thinking of him as the person who cheated with your best friend, not who you thought he was and who you were in love with. You were in love with someone else, some "who wasn't that type of bloke". as for your "best friend" - she is as pretty close to garbage as they come... stay as far away from her as you can. If possible transfer or find another job because you are now in a toxic environment.
