Thoughts on career:
What a wonderful situation to be placed in. to grow or to remain in an excellent position
with a good club. To be there is the
issue of becoming bigger and making a bigger difference in my effect on mankind. As my original goal five years ago was to
make a difference in others lives, one life at a time, my role as fitness coach
as a rich and rewarding one. As my role
in Universal grew I was able to affect many more lives thru my ability to
design and oversee programs that brought success to many people in the
Lancaster Area. Today I have spent a
year with Face2Face in my life and the ability to effect thousands or millions
of people in some way seems to be more my destiny. As I fly back from Russia, I am
confident that some club owners and manager will instill something of what I
spoke of into their clubs and in this way start a string of wisdom that will
continue to make a difference in human lives.
My course of action in this matter, is yet to be determined. There are issues of my financial
responsibilities to my family; my connection to Rick and Universal Athletic
Club; and of course the possibility of not succeeding in my mission. Of these issues the failure of my mission
seems to be the least concern, my passion to help others and my knowledge and
belief in what I do is not in question.
Because of my passion the financial aspect is to be considered, but I
think that I would be capable of producing income to cover my bills and fairly
quickly exceed any present gross.
My connection to Universal is the biggest issue, with no
security in my position the movement forward with Face2Face seems to be a large
unsettled part of me. I will need to
resolve these feeling prior to signing any agreement with Rick or Paul. Simply put I think that I would require a
three year commitment from Rick on my current pay setup and at the end of the
three years the ability to buy him out of the partnership if he is unable to
continue my employment with Universal.
I feel that I need to have the same level of commitment and security
that Rick has in this deal. The issue
will be if I am strong enough in spirit and position to be firm in my
belief. Too much force could scar the
relationship I have with Rick. The
agreement that I signed with Universal in March
will have to be reviewed by Susie and then a course of action will need
to be plotted.
The thought of more time available to do the things I love
to do and have the life that I dreamed of is awesome.
Some of my options would include being able to work with Tom
Weaver for the short term and do some work on the side. Of course my ability to sell and install
Face2Face Systems would be the mainstay of my income…The fee for a day of training
and commission on the sales or ownership of the US Market the prospects become
wonderful.
