In times of trouble, you will protect me. You will hide me in your tent and keep me safe on top of a mighty rock. Psalm 27:5
_at least once, i assume, your life had been un-understandable. it is when you got up the "wrong side of the bed" and completely your day was a mess. it was the time when you just don't know what's happening and have no idea of what to do about this strangeness you're feeling. and you can't apprehend or just hint a clue of what is really going on. the feeling of being new and unintroduced but has the urge to function and do your work though you really don't know what you have to do.
_stop, look, listen. what went wrong maybe just a prayer away. the anxiety of being lost in your familiar world is never an unexpected circumstance. yes, it happens and it happens not just once. this feeling of being seperated and alone is somehow being the same with that of the soldier in a war. he's there to fight, to defend, to win yet in the warland is a feeling of being new to this set-up. he knew what he has to do but is hesitant to do because he feels like being lost and most likely he will just follow orders.
_stop, pause, be still. it often helps when you're calm. calmness lessens anxiety thus reducing stress. it puts your mind into the "right" perspective and focus on what was vague. look, examine, ask. they can help you put you back into your "reality". asking someone to wake you up is same as asking "what do you think is wrong with me today? my day seems really wrong." listen, pay attention, open your mind. in times of confusion, God speaks and often we cannot hear Him because we are too noisy to ourselves. we need to listen and hear instructions and specific reminders from Him who is in control and knows exactly what is happening.
_there will be always be a time when your "person" will be swayed. there will be "rough edges of reality". good thing, God is a protector who is never hard to reach. are you too busy for a prayer? put in mind, He uncovers. He protects. He loves.
