| Remembering to Forget |
|
Our LORD, I will remember the things You have done, Your miracles of long ago. I will think about each one of Your mighty deeds. Psalm 77:11-12
_Jesus lived a life that was not a secret to everyone who knows Him well and those who heard of HIm. He left a life that is a legend. what He did was made an inspiration to a lot of us and steps to follow. His character was imitated and is worth imitating, must be imitated. what He showed was a perfect example everyone should be doing.
_how do you want to be remembered? when you die, how do you want people to talk about you? when you're not present, how do you want others to share your life? have you wondered how good things are neglect and bad stuffs are remembered? i did. and i did not just wondered, i ask them why. in summary, here's what they say, few poeple knew you as much as you want them to know you. these few will talk about your goodness. many others see you, hear you, encounter you, yet they do not know you really and wont understand the what's and why's of you. these many will speak the majority of your bad side according to their own eyes and judgement. the point is, eyes are preying in our every act, in what we do and everything else in us. these eyes judge according to their own instincts based on how they knew you. few only knows about you, many others are looking. then you must be careful.
_how do you want to be remembered? a question worth thinking before we die, isn't it?
