 Making God Smile
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship.
Romans 12:1

_your act of worship puts a smile on God's face. it shows that you are appreciating what He is to you and what He had done to you. it makes Him feel good and erases, maybe much thinking on how He'll be able to express and make you feel His love because your worship shows you're feeling His love. often, a worship that made God smile causes God to put abundance to the worshiper. worship, according to Rick Warren is of three parts.

_first, you must focus your attention to God. it helps that you find a "place of worship" where you cannot be disturbed and be affected by the outside world. in this place you commune with God as true to yourself. in this place, you act as you wish and not dictated by the surrounding. it is where you can fully fix your attention to God without worrying of anything else or thinking of what might be said or be seen of you. in here, you just feel God's presence and enjoy being with Him.

_second is expressing affection. worship is not a one way conversation with God that you only listen but you also share. you express. that is why we sing, we dance and cry to Him during worship. God do not want just to talk and hear nothing from you. He cares a lot that He  want to know what you want to say. during worship, we must pour our hearts to Him. how much we want to love Him, how painful it was being without Him and many others. just say it, let it out, cry! He listens, listens very well that no words from your mouth is out unnoticed.

_last is promising dedication. worship in not just a once a week event that happens on Sundays or Wednesdays or Fridays. worship, in Romans 12:1 is an everyday event that is taking place in our everyday chores, sleeping, dish washing, studying, working, walking, et al. yes, we can worship God through these daily chores by enjoying it considering these as gifts and blessings from God, thanking Him in every chance and opportunity. by making our life dedicated and solely lived for His kingdom is worship. worship is not just a once a week event but is a lifestyle to live.

_make God smile, for sure, He'll not fail to make you smile, too.
