We won't keep secret the glorious deeds and the mighty miracles of the LORD. Psalm 78:4
_have you had a memory of a teacher whom you favored best? or the teacher you can't forget because of his/her worst "stuff"? i barely can remember anyone. but when asked who taught me to be the one i am now, i will answer no other than life. for me, living my life is an unending process of learning and learning again. my best and worst teacher is experience. you justify why.
_Psalm 78 goes along with my thinking. for them, life has been a process of knowing God more and deeper and telling about Him to their children, their next generation. they believe that as you live, you will not believe God is "this" or "that" because you just heard it but because God reveals HImself to you. you will come to know God more as you come closer to Him as you live your life daily.
_i am amazed how God wants me to know Him more. when i was a little younger, i hate it when things are not in my control and happens as i do not intend them to happen. but now, i am more desperate to know why God made it happened and not why it does not happen my way.
_maybe, it will help if you got yourself a list of how God did respond and revealed Himself to you as "Someone". in my past relationship, i tried listing who she is. when i discovered something about her, i wrote it down and justifies why she is like that. i try not to assume or make myself believe that she is that but i depend my conclusions on facts presented when we are together. it even surprises her to know that she like that. it is fun! try it with God. i advise you to have a bulkier notebook. i'm worrying you'll run out of pages.
_as we live, let us not fail to enjoy and know God, then we could live a Christ-centered life.
