Many are the plans in a man's heart,
but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:21
_i remember how foggy can it be when winter fog descends and blinds the drivers of whatever is in front of them. in a movie, i recalled how postlights guided the stars of the film out from the foggy, not dark but grayish surrounding. the car swam into the fog and the driver and all that is in it cannot see what is ahead. good thing the light posts were lit and glow even in the vague fog. they followed the light after another in a steady slow pace. eventually they made it out of the fog. until then they realized they were on a bridge less travelled because it is weak. they all let out a sigh of big relief.
_then "God's will" came into my mind. how come He do not let us knew all the instructions before He let us go. then i was awakened by the thought that God do not made us to be His robots, but witnesses. i made a conclusion, i knew you won't probably believe, that for us to know, we must discover. like that of the light posts, each light guides us to another and to another into another, and eventually to the last one. knowing God's will, for me is knowing God first. it is not about what you to do, but to whom you'll be doing it. God may not say, you take this in college or you broil chicken for dinner but He will certainly wants you to excell in your grades and help others through the day.
_waiting for a simple instruction and doing it is easy. then it will lead you to something more complex and hearder. trusting God is vital for us to know who He really is and what He wants us to do. waiting, trusting, obeying. eventually you will not only know but knew you've done God's will in your life.
_you see, whatever you are doing is a part of the plan. if you are making some turns and twists, it affects how long you will be in that step. God reveals His plan to us bit by bit, one step at a time. you determine your own growth, progress and the pace you are making. we are on different tasks trying complete one big task. you do your part, i'll do mine. mine would probably affect you, as your would to me, but then, we decide when will we receive our next instruction card.
