 Interrupting Blessings
Many people told the man to stop,
but he shouted even louder, "Son of David, have pity on me!"
Mark 10:48

_travelling is one of the most things i do not want to be disturbed or even delayed. i find it so boring when things went a little longer. i can't find the joy of travelling especially going to familiar places with familiar views. it is most boring at night or when bothered by familiar poeple, making you to stop just to annoy you with questions that do not need an answer. very good thing Jesus was not like me! in His way to Jerusalem a blind man interrrupted His journey and asked for a little time for him. Jesus knew that He has something important to do in the town but He also knew how God sews events that it would be a beautiful garment of glory for those who follows how God weaves it. Jesus healed the blind man, pleased God, His Father and had glory by doing it.

_we are often interrupted in our daily lives as if these are all to annoy and disturbed us. but wait, are we interrupting blessings that are to come our way or are just interrupted by these interrupting blessings? this is a little perplexing as it first occured to me. then let me clear it to you, blessings do not always come in good form! some are surprises and some are even in disguise. we have to be keen that we could recognize them.

_God uses troubles to teach us to TRUST. Jesus shouted, "Father, I put myself in your hands!" Luke 23:46. God uses temptations to teach us to OBEY. "Father, .. .. do what you want, and not what I want." Luke 22:42 God uses tresspasses to teach us to FORGIVE. "Father, forgive these people! They don't know what they're doing." Luke 23:34

_see how God uses those that seems negative to brought the most positive of Christ's character? maybe next time, when confronted by interruptions, you could find time to look for opportunity where you could be a blessing. God might have blessed you and He wants you to bless others that's why He interrupts you. or you could have scarcity and He wants to bless you that is why He is interrupting you. best that we can do is not to say, "Father, bless my schedule today.", rather pray, "Father, what do you want me to do today that i could be a blessing?"

_let blessings interrupt you! it is better than to interrupt blessings coming.
