 Help!
Pray to Me in time of trouble. I will rescue you, and you will honor Me. Psalms 50:15

_to whom do you call in times of troubles? to whom do you run? to whom you plead?

_superheroes has been a fad and are being real in some, if not most of us. they tend to rely, believe and fool themselves of the reality of these imaginary figures. well, if only they were really true, their mutations and extraordinary abilities, then we would not have these troubles. they'll save us, wouldn't they?!

_even for some Christians, God is just another superhero who would come to the rescue and lift us all from suffering. of course, they will be disappointed, for God's pacing of solving our pains are to much different from the abrupt "lifting" that these imaginary creatures do in motion and still pictures. God is far more reality based than these immediate helps are. why? because He wants us to learn what we must learn in these problems that in the future, when we are confronted with the same situation. it is not the He do not wants to be disturbed and be called for help but it is more of developing an independence in us of how to do things on our own in His way.

_unlike these superheroes, God treat all of us with fair chance of being helped and fetched from our pains. He is never busy helping others not to help you. and you do not have to scream or flash a sign to call Him. just kneel, open your heart and pour your emotions on Him. He listens. most of all, He helps according to our need and not based on our perceived need. our actions may manifest a stomach pain for not eating due to loss of appetite and that stomach pain is what our "superheroes" will conclude our need. God is so much different. He could see that you have been broken and discouraged that caused you to loss your appetite and got the stomach pain. He will not just feed and fill your stomach to relieved the pain. He will for sure, comfort you for that need of acceptance that you are longing for.

_it is us that needs help, do our pride hinders us to humble ourselves and accept that we cannot do anything apart from God?

_need help? He's waiting.
