Jesus replied, "Look and you will see! Your eyes are healed because of your faith."
Luke 18:42
_popular adage "to see is to believe" is a dumb saying. i am so stern saying it but only, in my opinion, timid people will say that. do you see the wind? what about your heart beating? or your crumpled brain working? do you see them? you might seen one but not yours. then i guess that saying is not logical at all. you might have seen a tumor in someone else and it would not mean that you got one too. same as seeing one's heart in an open-heart surgery. it would not mean you got one too. seeing is believing is something a lazy man would say. they would rather let others prove it before they make it. what the use?! success is something cannot seen but is achieved. will you not believe success, honesty or love? oh, come on! this is not all about your eyes!!
_faith is not just believing, it is also trusting. faith devalues the quote above, instead restating it as "Believing is seeing". yes, it is! has Thomas Edison seen a light bulb before he made it? or has Eduardo San Juan saw a floating moon buggy before he designed it? or has Agapito Flores switched on a flourescent lamp before he invented it? faith, men, it's faith! faith is believing in advance that you can see it. these three and many more other inventors haven't seen one when they plan to make it visible. yet they believed and they did make it happen. instead of being timid about life's to see is to believe, they kicked off a new start and make others see that believing is seeing!
_look back into these two blind men's story with Jesus. what they heard was that Jesus can heal. they did not see Jesus restoring sight to the blinds, or hearing to deafs and words to the tongues of the mutes but they believed. they had faith, they trusted Jesus, and they saw what they believed in.
_Jesus is asking you, "What do you want me to do for you?" (Lk.18:41) make things happen through your faith!
_it, faith can move a mountain, even mountains!
