_we all want to win. and oftentimes we use the verse, a bit out of context as Paul did originally used the verse. we all want to win and do things our way. we use the verse oftentimes to fuel our desires, energize our passions and enable our spirit to ride our selfish thinking that we will win. most of them who do that were disappointed God was not with them. unconcious foolishness.
_in a competition, not everybody win. in life we all faces difficulties and pains. yes, Paul used the verse to explain how it helped him survived the pains life has offered him. he faced the difficulties, endured every hardship and still he keeps his faith. the same way is he wants us to use God's strength, to survive life and not just about winning or doing things we want to do.
_yes, we are not to fool ourselves again that God will help us do things that are of our selfishness. the next time you see the verse, whew, maybe then something shaky is about to come, maybe.
