Be still, and know that I am God! Psalm 46:10
_when things went uncontrolled and your life becomes a mess, what do you usually do? panick? mourn? pray? when there are things that are about to be done and you don't know what to do first, what do you do? panick? mourn? pray? when elife's vents went hard and has left you with shame, problems and rejection, what do you do? panick? mourn? pray? often, when things are unexpected, we do things we are not expected to do. our mind when not in touch with reality will cause us to commit mistakes. what do we do when we don't know what to do? simple, do nothing and wait.
_God wants to help us get through our own problems either induced or just a result of our acts. these hardships are all simple to Him who knew it all. He wants to lend a hand and make things good. but, as often as these problems occur, we see ourselves capable of getting through. we make a game plan and hopes it work out well. we don't see God as a God who can help but as just another "someone". we encourage ourselves that we can make it and overcome the problem. but eventually, we don't. we can't. that is why God wants us to do nothing, be still. He want us to look at the problem on a perspective He sees it. He wants us to gather ourselves first and be in good mind as He is. He wants us to relax, let go and stop pushing the rock which is not our problem. He wants us to focus and see the solution He saw that could solve the problem. He wants us to be still, do nothing and listen.
_but the proposition did not just end just like that. God continued, and know that I am God. nothing will be accomplished if we just do nothing. yes, God did suggest to do nothing but not just that. it was continued, and know that I am God. we often cry, mourn and ask help but as these tears flow, we do not recognize God as God whom we will follow. we ask His help for us to do our plan, instead of asking His wisdom that we may do His will. when things are undiscernable, it will help if we could stop and wait, and understand that God is God that we may see the meaning of this otherwise is a hopeless situation.
_you know now what to do best when you don't know what to do.
