Since we are God's children, we must not think that He is like an idol made out of gold or silver or stone. He isn't like anything that humans have thought up and made.
Acts 17:29
_we have heard "Christ-centered life" so many times and it always seems like a clanging symbals that seems to meant for nothing. why do this statement does not make an impact to most of us as it should? maybe that is because we still is unaware of the real fullness of who Christ is. we can't make Him the center of our whole being because we do not know who is to be put on that centre. many of us knew Christ as a historical figure who performed numerous miracles, died on the cross and rose back to life then ascended to heaven. simply that.
_Jesus Christ is not just that! He is the Creator (Jn 1:3), Authority over all things (Mt. 28:18), Mediator between God and man (1 Tim. 2:5), Way, Truth and Life (Jn 14:6) and so many others. these article wouldn't suffice to enumerate all of Him. but one thing is so sure, He is not just that person in your mind you think He is. He is more than that picture you're seeing!
_living a Christ centered life is us living for Him and He living through and in us. it is as simple as our lives must reflect who is He that others may see a glimpse of who really is He. it our that what we say is somehow probably what He will say and what we do are those He may would do too. it is that our every act be guided by His Word and is according to His Word alone. we need to understand and always be reminded that Christ must be the center of our all - work, love, life.
_being Him in the center is we looking at Him even He's not looking at us. and as we look at Him alone, even when we are alone looking at Him, others are made to look at Him too, and somehow made those others see what we see in Him.
