But God chose the foolish things of this world to put the wise to shame. He chose the weak things of this world to put the powerful to shame. 1 Corinthians 1:27
_unlike the standrads of this world where beauty, fame and abilities are dominant criteria for prestigious chances, God has a qualification that is so unfamiliar and maybe cannot be outshine. while the world is looking for the few best and "cream of the crowd", God's eyes prey on inner hidden qualities that often are not seen and ignored. many will kill themselves for that "perfect me" that the world is requiring them to be but few are chosen to have that perfectness that many are trying to have.
_how do i look? do you now me? i can do that! simple familiar statements that are made to uplift one's feelings about him or herself. unconscious maybe but saying those statements and the like are to reassure themselves that they will fit in the worldly standards of being "in".
_i'm sorry. two words of three syllables that is among the hardest words to say. admitting your fault is something too difficult to do. it's not easy to accept imperfections. it do not feel good to undo something you did with grace. humility is one thing that everyone is about to forget in our world where almost all wants to be on top, to be the winner.
_in that tallest building ever built or to be built, the lowermost part is the most important part of it. what lies under is something that really matters for that what is above to be a good facade. God looks on the heart of those He will pick. He does not consider beauty, fame and ability rather He choses those who are willing to obey and those who will follow.
_how is your heart? can it be a clay that is willing to conform to the hands of the Potter?
