I've never taking advantage of this new way of expressing oneself, "blogging" as it's called. A funny term, don't you think? I looked it up on Wiktionary and learned that it is slang from the term "weblog". "We" was somehow dropped, yet that's what it seems "WE" do on sites such as this, "blog".
I think it's great that the internet has provided people the opportunity to express themselves without having to be published. I've always felt that there were so many stories out there that were left untold. Everyone thinks their story is somehow unique to the universe, yet blogging gives poeple the opportunity to learn how similar our stories really are. Different charactors, cultures, series of events, etc., but the fact is, we are all fumbling through this journey with hope, fear and loss and love. I am drawn to this idea like a moth is to light, light a dog is to another dog's rear end... ultimately to avoid the crazy, lonely thoughts, that somehow I am so desparetly unique. So here is my story.
