Posted by engine 2008-05-06 14:24:10 If you're sure it's over, especially if it's been a somewhat unhealthy/stressful relationship... I only have one bit of advice... BE CLEAR. Don't say things to make the other person think there may still be a chance in the future if there really isn't, just so it doesn't hurt as bad. It's best to tell them the entire truth. They'll get over it in time. They'll definitely get over it quicker that way as opposed to hanging on a hope that will never be realized.
