| My take on container gardening

I never knew this before but gardening is such a cool thing to do! I always used to think that gardening was all about mud and pests and all the crap dry leaves that keep piling up. But not any more. I just got into a new house a month before and the house already had a set garden with a green well maintained lawn and loads of container plants. They look great and they are so easy to manage as well. I surprised myself today by ordering a few container plants, a few flower seeds and some fancy plant containers. And I am all exicted. I mainly ordered bizze lizzes and roses.
I work in my garden early in the mornings and the evenings and it really relaxes me a lot. It is much better than playing a game of golf with your best buddies. I even talk to my plants when I water them. Just like my friends. Yeah, I know that sounds kind of crazy :)
I read some where that plants can listen as well!! Can you belive that? A research has indicated that plants grow faster and healthier when a light soothing music was played constantly in the background. Wow.. now that is something I have never tried with my plants but I guess I will be doing that soon.
Okay, so that takes care of my first blog post here. Hope to be a regular blogger here.
