Haha you sound like my boyfriend I have now. I used to go for douchebags all my life. I finally said "Fuck it." And went on a blind date my mom's couple friends set up. I thought I had nothing left to lose. It happened, I found an actually nice guy. He was smart,did a lot for himself, and wasn't a douchebabag! He has always told me he'd most likely have to get a girl that went through a bunch of assholes to appreciate someone like him. And sure enough, I showed up. So far we've been together for 5 months and been living together for one. Everyday is fun and new with him. I never thought I'd feel like this someone in my life. I guess love is a funny thing. Takes time.. much much time and patience.
