The Color of the day is: ORANGE

Well, I'm pretty much an ORANGE belt in Karate. I received my silver stripe completing my White belt qualifications on Tuesday. I'm very pleased and looking forward to learning new things for the new belt. I think I spread my cold around the place a bit though and I feel bad for that, so if you are someone I got sick, I'm sorry.

The school thing is going to have to wait. I'm #24 on the waitlist for Chemistry. Doubtful I'm going to be able to do it. I haven't seen someone add more than like 5-6 people from the waitlist in the first week. It was a valient effort though.

I'm ready for some warm weather. This past weekend when it was 82 degrees I put on my bathing suit and attempted some tanning. Didn't get much sun but I enjoyed the warmth and sunshine, not to mention the dose of Vitamin D, and now that it's cold and windy again today, I'm over it. So...I will do some sunshine dance or something to bring on the heat.

I can't wait until next weekned. I'm going to spend the weekend in Santa Barbara with a friend. It's about a 3 hour drive but I'll be going up on Friday after work, and staying until early Sunday. I know we're going to have a bunch of fun and are going to be spending some serious time out on the town. So bring on the hot weather!

Alright, that's enough for today. It's Valentine's Day and for the first time in a long time I don't have a Valentine or a love interest, BUT....I'm okay with that. Today has been a great day regardless. Work went well. No problems with the kids at all. I'll be at grappling/karate tonight and that usually goes well. I don't need another person to be happy. I dressed super cute for work today in red. Even my shoes match. I love dressing for the holidays. I can't wait until St. Patricks Day. Green looks much better with my hair red than blonde. lol. Okay, I'm not that full of myself, I'm just saying, I'm alright. A little lonely at times, and a little jealous at times of where/what I was reduced to, but I'm gaining it back and more and I am my own Valentine today.
