It's been a while since I posted a blog so I thought I'd give it a go. Things are going pretty well in my life. Here's a low-down of it all.
Let's start with last weekend. I went to a party in OC with some old friends, made some new friends and got pretty drunk on champaigne and good times. It was a Ladies Only "estrogen party" at Rosie's and man, was it fun. I ran into an old friend from when I went to school at GWC in OC. Good times. Let's hear it for friends and fun.
On the more recent front, I start school tomorrow. I'm taking Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology. Once I pass these two classes I only have 2 more and then I can apply to the Nursing Program, which then takes just over 1 year. I feel like I'm back on track and on my way to making more money and having an actual career. I am already counting down my substitute teaching days.
Jeremy and I are great and going strong. We're 6 days shy of our 6 month anniversary. We are not huge on celebrating those things but 6 months is definitely a milestone. He's taught me many things and I look forward to spending another 6+ months with him.
Speaking of Jeremy, he's back in school too taking a math class, psych class and a computer class, completing his undergrad units. He applied to CSUSB and should be starting there next year.
I cannot wait for winter. I am SO sick of this heat. It was deathly hot in my house today, so hot you cannot motivate yourself to do much other than lay around like a dying being. Not fun. At least the school has AC.
I guess the point of this is to say that things are good. I'm happy with the way things panned out. I know I'm much better and with someone who is far, FAR superior to the ex, although in his defense the ex did teach me one thing: Just because you have a penis (and a small one at that) it doesn't make you a man.
