| I love pot. Stainless steel with copper bottoms. |
HA Yeah, its a lame joke but it relates to my job that I have. I am now working at the Kitchen Collection in the Tanger outlet in Foley. Its kinda a small store. Which I like. Makes the environment more intimate between the sales and the customers coming though. Most of the people are pretty nice. Yes there are the bad apples that come in. Mostly old people that act bitter and mean. I regretted not eating more in the morning though. By 1 o'clock I was starving. I went to get a pretzel from the food court, only to get the people to tell me that they only take cash. I tried to get cash from the ATM but it wouldn't even take my card. Sheila (one of the asisstant managers) felt so bad for me that she let me have three of her lemon cookies in the fridge in the back. T_T I was so happy 4 that. She and I talked a lot.
Afterwards I texted matt and asked him if he wanted to eat out since his parents were most likely goin to church for the night. He agreed and we decided to meet up at Applebees when he got off. So I went through the Dollar Tree and grabbed a new toy for Max, our german shepard. Also some cleaning stuff for me to clean tomorrow. And of course, my dum dum lollipops that I love so much. (Yes I have a zipoc stash of them in my purse.)lol
I went to Applebees a little earlier than him and drank some sweet tea while I waited and sifted through my options for pleasing my tender gullet. Matt found me right away and we ordered our stuff. He got the sweet and spicy ribs while I had my fave, the three-cheese chicken penne pasta. We nibbled on the spinach and artichoke dip while we watched deal or no deal on one of the screens there. Well.. I glanced over and watched some NCIS on another screen. Our stuff came and we still kept talking and stuffing our faces. No shame. :P lol And I totally went through I think 3-4 glasses of tea. my last one didn't have a lemon in it. lol I actually read somewhere that restaurants try to cut corners by like charging for the lemon piece too or not including it at all in an order. The tea costs virtually nothing for them to make while the lemon can rack up some serious cash if they are careful or stingy enough to cut it out.
We went to DG afterwards and grabbed some stuff and headed home. We played with Max for a while with the new frisbee I got em and have been relaxing at home ever since.
I'm planning to clean a good bit tomorrow. Need to do laundry and the floors. Then friday I gotta work from 9 to 3 and me and matt are planning for a littel bit of grocery shopping so i can find some stuff to cook for sides to go along with the monsterous amount of meat his parents have.
I talked with my Grandmother from south Georgia. That went over as well as I thought it did. She..cracks me up sometimes."Are..are you still dating matt?" Well...yes granny. I suppose I am if I'm still living here with him. lol."Well, well make sure you get a career and everything. So you can be on your own okay." Of course Granny, its not like me and matt are actually planning to get married or be engaged next year. *rolling eyes* I didn't tell her all that though. Just went along with whatever. Still love her even if she's a card. A one-of-a-kind card. lol.
Well I shall update again latah! byezzzz
