Hispanic Sword fights, shopping neices, and OMG FR
So I'm listening to some Garbage and Joan Osborne's song "Dracula Moon". I love how smooth the song is.It just reminds me of something Joplin would make if she were in the late 80's-early 90's. Nice stuff, btw.

So lets start at the begining, shall we? So this weekend was full of interestin stuff. I decided on saturday that I was going to cook for matt's parents and the girls for dinner. I was making pork chop casserole. Its bassically rice cooked on the bottom with a layer of pork pieces and a mix of cream of mushroom soup and milk. The latter makes the rice and pork taste like its in a thick, rich gravy.Pretty neat stuff, really. So I'm making it and get done. His mother was at the house with me while his father and him went dove shooting, and Savannah (one of the neices) stayed and tried the resulting product. It was absolutely delicious. I had to stop myself from eating it all so everyone else could have some. With Matt helping his grandfather cleaning doves across the street, I didn't think I'd wait too long. Buuuuuuut they told me that I could actually bring my casserole over to his grandparents while some of the family tried it. I was like...(0_0)"Are you serious?" Cooking was a big deal in my other families and I always thought it was a huge accomplishment if I could actually make a meal that wasn't burnt or tasted "too much" of something. So least to say, I was sooooo nervous. But I brought it with me anyway. It turned out that no one really was making a meal so his grandmother rushed to put a few sides with it. It tasted wonderful then, too. Everyone was looking at me and thnking me for the meal and saying how great it tasted. I felt so much heat rise to my face I thought I looked like a cherry, and I knew matt knew I was feeling excited and embarassed with the attention so he grabbed my hand under the table and squeezed it while smiling at me. Even praised me for it, along with his parents, when we got back to make it again sometime soon.  Hehe It was an overall good day.

Sunday, me and matt planned to go sword fighting in the park with this group we just found that meets up every sunday at 2 that does renaissance activities.  ^_^ We were sooo excited and by the time we got there.. well.. I forgot something that was mentioned in the community events.. there was gone be a hispanic festival in the park. T_T. So no sword fights. But damnit! I wanted to go to the festival! It looked like a lot of fun! But Matt didn't want to. The whole crowd thing and not used to the culture thing was a phsycological negativity for him. So to make up for it, we went to books a million to get me some coffee. The lady I gave the Terry P. books to was there and she let us have whatever drink we wanted for free so matt got some hot coco while I got a pumpkin spice latte. We read for a little while and headed back to the house.  Later we went to his grandparents and we all at dove for dinner and watched the Atlanta Falcons play for the night.  Well Matt had to help clean a dear so it took a little while.

Kendal and Savannah (Matt's neices) had to go back home the next day and since I was off work, I was the only one available to run Savannah to her church rehearsal and Kendal back home. Ms.Lee also gave me cash for gas and groceries for me to pick up while I was out. Well me and the girls got to talking and since I had to stop by the Career Center and go shopping for stuff to layer up with at work, i thought it'd be nice to take Kendal with me while savannah went to her church thing. We got to their house and convinced her step-father to let her go with me for the day. He was absolutely kind and everything to me. Kendal mentioned how receptive he was to me taking her out. It kind of made me feel odd, after knowing how much the family has told me  about his bad atittude. But he was particularly pleasant to talk with and seemed to be perfectly fine with me taking her out. So I dropped off Savannah and took Kendal to her mother's work to get kendal some money to shop with. ( I offered to pay for her lunch, even though I was tight on cash) And we stapped at the career center, I got my info I needed, shopped FOREVER during the day with her, and even helped her find a new store she seems to like. Charlotte Russe, I think its called. I love that store. I used to get my  BEST work clothes from there.lol We went to a chinese buffett  and then I took her home. Exhausted as hell, I went to walmart where I executed my plans of future meals for the next two weeks or so. It was waaaaay too late for me to make the prok chop casserole again so I bought a pre-packaged lasagna meal for everyone.  That totally work out fine. And matt texted me the whole time and mentioned that my work called the house so I needed to call them back. I figured sine I was in the same area, I'd just drop by and talk to my manager. They just wanted me to work the next day from 10-4. I said that was totally fine and I apologized for my sickness on friday and missing those hours. At least I was given a chance to redeem myself, AMEN.  I headed home and we ate the lasagna. me and Matt folled around some. (Finding it hard to believe that we actually made love for 7 days in a row and now its like every other night. o_o PHEW. lol Work out, babyieeee j/k.)

So today i went and was getting ready for work this morning when I got a call from the Kitchen collection... Patricia wanted me to try and come early so I could get coffee. >_> Damn her... I was so excited about coffee that I forgot to put on my make-up this morning. T_T But I got coffee for everyone and got myself a hot cocoa with peppermint. ^_^ The whole day went by in a blur. I finally learned the register. The particulars I'm still getting used to, but I'm getting better, YAY!
Matt brought me lunch. ^_^ a chicken strip basket and he shared some of his fried pickles. OMG Fried pickles are amazing. Trust me.. they're like CRAZY flipping good. o_o I want to get some tomorrow totally. haha But I got home later, achy feet and all, and started dinner. Pork chop casserole of course. Matt, my dearest love, has been glancing at the clock more than me because he seems to really be craving for the casserole. :P haha Can't blame him. For something that tastes that good, it takes at LEAST two hours to bake in the oven. lol

Well tomorrow, I gotta run and do stuff for the college thing but GOD I'm gonna take my firggen time becuase I feel pooped and its only TUESDAY. I still gotta work on friday and saturday. o_o fuuuuuuulll week, leme tell ya.

Oh before I go and check the casserole again, be sure to check out the channel section of the site (its under the videos pannel) and I have some videos up of me and my boyfriend. "Ariel vs. Life" is what its called if you need to search. Its worth the watch because I'm crazy hilarious in real life. :P And feel free to ask me about the casserole recipie. ^_^ I love sharing meals with people. Especially since I work at a kitchenware store now.

Hehe I'll see everyone later! BYEZZZZZ!!!
