Sometimes I wonder if it's how we were raised or how are family life was or what generation that we're from. Even what city we live in! I lived in Long Beach, CA and I'm from Washington State. The atmosphere and the people there were crazy!! At least the ones that I met. Every woman and man were out to use each other and how much money you had or made was a big thing. People were running around like mad and I was used to everything being laid back. Us girls/women are just kinda weird sometimes :P (posted in Why are women so catty? I found that being friend)
True friends are the ones that build you up and support you, not tear you down and use you for selfish means. My older brother once told me this... He told me that I at least needed to "test drive" 10 guys and then pick the best one out of all of them. I think as girls, we tend to get so wound up emotionally that we forget about everything else around us. You notice men are totally not like this at all lol? I guess there are a few but I noticed it depends on the age brackets. (posted in Mates before dates?)
Ok...just to clairify... My MOTHER bought me the dating book...along with the man catcher boots. Just in case I wrote that wrong! :) (posted in The Invisible Sign)
