He loves you and cares alot. I would have done the same. I think the words he used and the sending you off to your aunts is over the top though. I would have hit you (my daughter lol not actually you) and then hugged you tight and sat and had a good deep conversation with you. Asked all the questions like why did you decide to at a young age, Why did you if he is a women beater, why didn't you tell me he was beating you. Then reassured you it was ok to tell me things like this. Then worked with you to get over it :)

What you need to do is go for a day to yourself. I dn't know maybe a day at the spa or something and just sit and contemplate. then when you get back to normal life, go with the flow. If something's annoying you, let it annoy you. let people know your annoyed and it won't be so bad.

The way i left it was stripping my life to the bone. taking away everything that ever used to make me happy. then I built it back up again, a bit at a time. I started with reading. I love reading. and the fantasy took me away into another world so i could forget myself. It was like two helps at once. Then i went for walks and made myself appreciate the world i am living in. eventually my life was reformed and i am a stronger person for it.
Obvously this isn't a tactic for everyone and it may not help, but I want to help you so......
but yer that is my advice.
