Life is communication. So I guess I'm primarily a communicator.
Under that umbrella of communication, I'm primarily a writer. I've freelanced for a magazine, written marketing copy for a publishing house, written many novels that were duds and one or two good ones, and tried my hand at poetry and short stories. My years of marketing and copywriting experience has reshaped my love for words into something more focused and powerful. I have ideas and thoughts to share-- and I believe that the best use of words is the generation of amazing thoughts and ideas in others. So this blog is all about words and communication-- how to write good marketing copy, how to write a novel, how to write anything quickly and well-- and maybe some tips for speech-writing and speech-making. And since I'm also a reader and movie buff, I'll probably toss in a book/movie review or two.
