The two top President/Vice President candidates in the Student Government elections are Dixon/Oaks and Roberston/Bates.

The popularity of the election is growing by day and more political brochures are being handed out in free speech alley.  Despite the many supporters, there is a large crowd taking the subject lightly.  Many have called the candidates' new ideas a "joke." 

Some wonder if free hot chocolate, public feedings of Mike, and an Ebay for LSU is necessary.  The candidates have been criticized for having "fratty" views and not focusing on the "important" needs of the students.

However, they candidates seem to be taking their positions seriously and, according to their supporters, they have some very good plans for the school.

Robertson's aim to save $3.3 million for the school and Dixon's plans to take care of students' everyday needs appear to be a good idea for the future of LSU.
