2008年3月24日今天上午在希腊奥林匹亚城举行的奥运圣火点燃仪式现场遭多人抗议。当北京奥运组委会负责人刘琪演讲时，包括记者无疆界秘书长 Robert Menard在内的三名记者无疆界组织成员众目睽睽之下展示其著名之手铐五环图，并高呼“自由” 、“自由”。从电视画面上看，记者无疆界亚洲部负责人Vincent Brossel也在其中；至少一人成功跑到了刘琪身边展开手铐五环图。中国大陆的电视转播此时中断。
