| 30th Birthday Plans??? |
I will be turning 30 early next year and I am so confused on what to do...I always imagined for my 30th birthday I would have some kind of huge celebration...I always thought I'd throw myself a party, go out of the country, go to a different city and party...
Well now that day is coming and it's coming fast. My dad told me about 2 years ago he would take me and the family on a cruise...When I asked him about it, he is now saying he will take me next year, but not ON my birthday...in fact, he's thinking months later...So much for that celebration.
Anyways, I will be 30 and have never been to Vegas...Sad right? I was thinking maybe going to Vegas for a few days with some friends and party like a rock-star. I was speaking with my therapist last week who knows I have a shopping addiction and want to buy a house soon and he said maybe I should take that money and put it towards my future house down payment...
Now I'm torn...What do I do? I know Vegas wouldn't cost THAT much, but right now, I'm living paycheck to paycheck...No matter what I decide, I don't want to look back and think..."damn, I should have (fill-in-the-blank) for my 30th birthday."
What do you suggest?
