I heard it on the news. A father kept his daughte imprisoned for 24 yrs (i think) and fathered 7 children and raised 4 or 5 of them with his wife (her mother). This girl was white haired and pale as a ghost with her children she was allowed to keep. One died at birth. The news clip I saw showed where this woman and her children were kept and it was worst than words could describe. The rooms were barely big enough for a bed and it was disgusting. The neighbors were interviewed and said they had no idea things like that were happening under the house. All they heard were children (her children that were taken from her) laughing and having fun in the 'gardens'. Sick isn't it???

Sorry about ur relationship with the sister. I have a sis and we get along and email and have fun but she lives a lonnnnng ways away. We are not chit chatty on the phone so emails are nice. She gives me the guilts about our parents and I think its bc she isn't as close to them (geographically) as I am so she tells me what I should be doing with them. I take it with a grain of salt at times and other times I let her have it.... boot lady said it best....we can pick and choose our friends but not our family....if I could I would choose u as a sister bc we have soooooooo much in common....smile

I agree with ur post WK. I've never seen people leave so much as they have here. It's sad that one can't sit down at their prospective keyboards and just let it out. If I don't want to read certain bloggers stuff (and believe me their are a couple that are like leprosy to me) then I don't. There have been so many times I have wanted to just make the nastiest of comments as I'm sure most of us do, but stop myself bc why should I say mean things to someone's thoughts? A friend of mine has adult children married with families of their own and recently ended her marriage. When they got tired of their father ignoring them and their children they wanted to wash their hands of him and she defended him as the mother for the father. It doesn't end when they grow up. U do the right thing and hold ur head up high. Her children know now what a loser the father is and has always been. Ur children will understand one day too and u will be their heroine. ty

Hello, thought I'd tell u the quality of the time u spend with ur children is the important thing here not the quantity, although its very difficult for u right now. Ur children know they have a good dad and a loving dad. They will know what broadzilla has done. Children are so smart, my god are they smart! They know! They know! Trust in the fact that u are a decent man and ur children love u so much. They see it every time u r together, I feel this in my heart and from ur writings. Stay focused on them and continue to trust ur one.
