A NEW "HOPE" FOR LOVE....

     I never thought I'd be writing for the encouragement of the "L" word (and i don't mean lesbian). Me???? The forever pessimist....the one who doesn't believe in love. The one who thinks love is for fools and idiots....here I am....writing bullshit! Did I have an epiphany??? Nope! A dream? Nope! A premonition? Don't think so! I think I've just come to the realization that maybe love does have a place in the world. I will at the very least admit it has a chance. I've had my heart broken more than once in my life. I hate it. I hate that empty feeling, that terrific pain that just seems to burn throughout my entire body. The sadness that goes everywhere with me not giving me a moment's rest. That terrible moment when we finally realize they aren't going to be in our lives and the lonliness just overtakes our souls. It is the most dark, overwhelming feeling I have ever come across and it terrifies me that to take a chance on love is also taking a gamble with heartbreak. Why can't we have a guarentee? Wouldn't that be the perfect thing if all love affairs came with a certificate that stated we would always feel this euphoria of emotion. It was 'Guarenteed' for life!

      We have all had are hearts broken at least once in our lives. There has been that one person that we have loved with all our heart and has not returned that love. When you wake up to that reality you feel like your world has shattered. You feel like you will never love that way again. He/She is all you think of and they become your world.

     You ask yourself why is this happening to me? Am I not good enough? What's wrong with me? Then, as time goes by, you get the answers to your questions. You begin to realize that it all happened for a reason. You realize the he/she is not the one for you.

     The more you analyze the person you begin to see the differences. You realize that you don't know that person like you thought you did and they don't know you. Then comes the understanding that you deserve someone who will love, cherish, appreciate you and never take you for granted.

    Once you reach this point, the pain of never having them starts to minimize. It becomes a learning experience. You learn more about yourself. You learn to recognize the qualities you do want in a person. You learn that you will love again and even stronger.

   When two people love each other mutually and give to each other freely that love grows and matures. If it were not for the experience of our broken heart and those lessons we learned along the way we would not be the loving, understanding people we become.

    All past hurts teach us and mold us in becoming better people, which give us the tools to create successful relationships. If you are experiencing a broken heart just remember even though you have been hurt and disappointed love will come again just HOPE!

		Kel...I hear you too! I know that feeling of being afraid that it won't come along again. I see someone that has it and I'm not sure if its jealousy or relief that its not me or 'hope' that it will find me too. I "HOPE" for both of us that the real deal finds us and fulfills our dreams as well. hugs :) SA...Thank you for the comment and I truly feel that love will find us all. 		....exactly what I needed right now. Hope is sometimes hard to find....but it seems that sometimes it finds us when we least expect it, but most need it. Thank you!

		Brainstormer...We could all use a recharge of hope! We all need to feel the love of another human being, someone that can listen to our dreams, give us the space we need when we need it, love us in spite of our downfalls, and give us the understanding and acceptance we deserve. I wish us all good luck. :) JH...I'm glad you enjoyed my post and I thank you for your comment. I think hope comes in ways we don't expect so sometimes it gets ignored. We always think things will come in these perfect little packages and it just doesn't happen like that. I hope I can find what it is in life I need with someone that ultimately needs it too. 		This is a pretty spectacular and refreshing change from your other posts (not that I have commented on them). I hope that you can find a love that is so all encompassing that you cant help but love with abandon! Everyone deserves the chance to love and be loved and be as happy as utterly possible.
